God is good though, and we made it to Johannesburg today…

…with one last leg on SA Airways into Lilongwe tomorrow, before driving into Dedza with Priestley!

Thanks to the elders at Fifth Ward for sending me off on Tuesday! …and please excuse my cheesy ear to ear grin here…smh. But thanks to everyone who’s helped get me this close to actually teaching at MIBI! God willing, it won’t be long now (actually Monday).  So please keep offering up more of what’s gotten us here:  your prayers! God’s best to you all, as you move forward in Him!!!

I appreciate the update so I can imagine I am traveling right along with you and know where “we” are in our journey. It looks like you did an amazing job of packing. I’m sure you will make your new place look just like it’s your home in no time. I will miss our special visits and encouragement to one another in person, but feel very much at peace with your new assignment from the Lord. He knows exactly where He needs you to use your talents to further His kingdom. I look forward to your updates and will continue to pray for God’s blessings and guidance for you.

    In Christian love,

    Sherrye

    • 🙂 …thanks, Ms. Sherrye! Sorry it took me a while to reply but I just saw your comment a day or so ago. I had to turn off the feature that required my approval for comments to post, b/c I wasn’t even getting consistent notice that there were comments to approve. I think it was a box that I checked long before I converted this to a travel blog.

Anyway, I plan to keep the updates coming, because it has been great finally getting here…and really getting back to focussing on the word, the speaking, etc.—even if we still have plenty of administrative hurdles ahead. So I’m hoping to keep the updates coming, since the stories are plenty. It gives me a much better appreciation of what John wrote toward the end of his gospel—because the difficulty is in picking which stories to tell!

“The disciples saw Jesus do many other miraculous signs in addition to the ones recorded in this book. 31 But these are written so that you may continue to believe…” Jn 20:30 NLT

“25 Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written.” Jn 21:25 NLT

First, all praises, honor and glory to Our Father – Creator of all – through His Word and His Son, Jesus Christ, we are given the pathway to salvation. Thanking Him for His love, grace, mercy and forgiveness.

Please extend my sincere greetings to all at MIBI in Dedza,
Praying you arrived safely and are enjoying the fellowship of everyone at MIBI. May God continue to bless the work there.

Please extend a special hello to Priestly and his family.
